  2. Enabling rapid business process automation to speed up approvals or processing time.
  3. Helping you better manage how you allocate funds, track expenses and salaries, and manage costs across departments, regions, or programs.
  4. Simplifying complex reporting on how funds are allocated and used, visibility on staff utilization, or analysing donation spend.
  5. Protecting the sensitive data of the communities you serve against sophisticated and persistent cyber threats.
  6. Providing you with technologies that help you better manage and engage your volunteers.

Microsoft’s not-for-profit offers include Microsoft 365, Azure, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 software grants and donations, and we help you explore these solutions further at no cost.

If you aren’t fully aware of what your not-for-profit organisation is missing out on, read on to learn how to qualify and take advantage of these offerings.

What are Microsoft’s and Professional Advantage’s offers for Not-for-Profit organisations?

Each not-for-profit offer is designed to help you achieve more and accelerate your social impact. You can pick from any of these offers and prioritise them based on your current needs.

1 | Empower a productive and secure team.

Microsoft 365 Business Premium is designed for small to mid-size organisations to help your team stay productive and secure. It brings together best-in-class productivity tools while simplifying device management and security. It includes desktop apps of the familiar Microsoft Office suite, Teams, Exchange, OneDrive, and SharePoint.

Not yet using Microsoft 365?

As a qualified NFP, you can get up to 10 users free on Microsoft 365 Business Premium, discounted at $6.90/user/month* for succeeding users between 11 to 300. We can then help you explore your next steps through our complementary consultation or workshops and migrate your mailbox or file shares with a special rate for NFPs.

Existing Microsoft 365 user?

Migrating your mailbox to Microsoft 365 is the first step in your digital transformation journey. The next step is improving how you communicate, collaborate, and share information with your staff, volunteers, donors, and supporters. You can do this by migrating your file shares to SharePoint and using Teams as a teamwork hub and communication platform. In parallel, you can enable secure remote work to ensure that your sensitive not-for-profit data is protected regardless of your volunteers or staff using their personal devices to access your data.

2 | Measure your impact.

Analysing your data and measuring your impact is critical to your not-for-profit organisation’s success. Power BI enables you to visualise your data and simplify complex reporting.

Power BI Desktop is already available for free, and you can use it to connect your various data sources, build visualisations, publish to the Power BI service, and embed on your website. If you need more advanced features, such as real-time views, data collaboration, content distribution, and more, you need Power BI Pro.

Power BI Pro is available for not-for-profits at a discounted rate of $4.10/user/month*. We can then help you to explore how to simplify your not-for-profit reporting through our complimentary 1-hour discovery session, or you can watch our on-demand webinar here.

3 | Optimise your operations by moving to the cloud.

Microsoft Azure is an enterprise-grade, robust and secure cloud platform that can help you to save on your IT hardware and software refresh costs, secure your hybrid IT environment, and modernise your legacy apps – all while using a single cloud platform.

Not yet using Azure?

Qualified NFPs can get $3,500 (USD) Azure credit* annually, giving you access to various Azure services which you can renew annually. We can help you assess your readiness to migrate to Azure with our complimentary 1-day Cloud Readiness Assessment.

Already using Azure? There is more to Azure than just moving your virtual machines or backing up your data there. With Azure, you can secure your hybrid environment, virtualise your desktops, modernise your apps, improve reporting and analytics, and more. Reach out to us to learn more about what Azure can do for you.

4 | Modernise your processes and manage your constituents.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform combined can help you drive deeper engagements while modernising your financial systems and business processes.

Streamline your financials, accounting, and operations with a comprehensive Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) solution for NFP's:

  1. Dynamics 365 Business Central. Qualified NFP’s get Essential licenses for $38.40/user/month*, Premium for $54.90/user/month*, and Teams for $4.40/user/month*.
  2. Dynamics 365 Finance and Dynamics 365 Supply Chain. Qualified NFP's get Finance licenses for $98.90/user/month*, and Supply Chain licenses for $98.90/user/month*.

Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise is a salesforce automation tool that helps you to better understand your donors or volunteers, build more meaningful relationships, and engage your audiences more effectively. It is free for up to 5 users and discounted at $32.60/user/month* for additional users for eligible NFPs.

Dynamics 365 Fundraising and Engagement is a complimentary application that qualified NFPs can use to tackle challenges around fundraising and managing donations (this does require Dynamics 365 Sales Enterprise license, however). Volunteer Management and Volunteer Engagement apps will help you manage the daily processes around your volunteers and engaging them with volunteering opportunities. These apps will be generally available by the end of 2021.
