Help! The Enable user and Disable user buttons have gone from the ribbon. How do you deactivate a current user in Dynamics CRM 2011? Don’t worry help is at hand.
Furthermore, we’re told extensively (and learnt!) not to delete CRM users but to deactivate them, see this MSDN blog for confirmation.
So it’s not without some trepidation that your mouse hovers nervously over the “delete” user, after you’ve been redirected to the Office365 Admin Center.
I can confirm that by deleting the user in Office 365 Admin Center the user account in CRM is actually deactivated. Thank you, Microsoft. That was obvious. If you’re like me, I had to dive to Google first (even Bing as a second choice) and then to validate my research I created a dummy user and promptly deleted them to see what happened.
